M&A surges with takeovers, mergers & bid battles

Ahead of many mining investors heading to Kalgoorlie next week, mining deals have been coming in thick and fast. This week delivered a flurry of M&A activity, with Evolution Mining (ASX:EVN) announcing a major acquisition, Genesis Minerals (ASX:GMD) and Vault Minerals (ASX:VAU) completing their merger, First Au (ASX:FAU) closing an acquisition while Far East Gold (ASX:FEG) defended itself against a takeover bid - watch TSN interview with Founder MD & CEO Shane Menere
